Fever SC are off to a great start in the WPSL after winning their home opener 1-0. Hailey Russell (Rider/Cal State University) scored in the last minute of the game off a great pass from her twin sister Hannah (Oakland University (MI)) to lead Fever over Washington DC Dutch Lions. Riley Spingler (Bloomsburg University) got her second shutout in as many games as the Fever are off to a 2-0-0 start. The Fever had numerous chances to score throughout the game especially in a dominating second half. Thanks to all who came out to watch the game, especially the Trevose Fire Company! The Fever’s next two games are at home. On Thursday 6/8 they play a very strong Penn Fusion team at 7:00 PM at First Responders Field. On Sunday 6/11, the Fever celebrate all our Bensalem First Responders as they clash against WPSL newcomer Phila Ukrainian Nationals Liberty at 3:00 PM at First Responders Field.
