On Thursday night, with a smoky haze hanging over beautiful Abessinio Stadium in Wilmington, DE, the Fever suffered their second loss of the WPSL season losing 2-1 to the Delaware Ospreys. Fever took the lead in the second half on a nice goal from Kennedy Kilchrist (Bloomsburg University) off a smart steal and pass from Jacqui Weber (St. Peter’s University). Unfortunately, luck would not be with the Fever this game as they scored two own goals in the second half and let the game slip away. However, the girls got good news after the game when they were told they have earned a spot in the WPSL Mid Atlantic Conference Championship Game. That game will be Saturday July 8th at 4:00 PM at First Responders Field in Bensalem, PA.
