Fever beat Delaware Ospreys 2-1 on Fathers Day

Fever SC beat the Delaware Ospreys 2-1 in a WPSL Father’s Day clash at First Responders Field. Goals by Gabby Zalot (NJIT) and Jacqui Weber (St. Peter’s University) led the Fever as they held off the Osprey’s late pressure to hang on for the win. The Fever improved to 4-1-0 to keep pace with the WPSL’s Mid Atlantic Colonial Conference leaders. Fever are 3 points out of first place but have played less games than the opponents they are chasing. Fever are on the road for their next two games – Wednesday 6/21 at Phila Ukrainian Nationals Liberty and Sunday 6/25 at Washington DC Dutch Lions. Next Home game is Tuesday 6/27 at 7:00 PM against Penn Fusion, who gave the Fever their only defeat so far. Special thanks to our Fever U11 ball girls!
