Fever SC lost 2-1 to #22 ranked Penn Fusion in West Chester on Wednesday. In a very close game the Fever made two mistakes that cost them against a very strong Penn Fusion team. Emily Wilkinson (LaSalle University) scored a world class goal for the Fever on a direct kick from just outside the 18 to put the Fever up 1-0. Penn Fusion scored off a nice head ball from a set piece to tie the game, then scored on a penalty kick before halftime to go up 2-1. Next game is at home on Father’s Day, Sunday 6/18/23 at 3:00 PM against the Delaware Osprey. Come watch the game and #catchthefever!
