Fever SC opened their WPSL season last night with a stunning 1-0 win over SJEB, who are currently ranked #5 nationally in the WPSL. SJEB went to the WPSL semi finals last season. Carly Fox (Neshaminy HS, PSU Berks in fall 2023) scored the only goal in the first half off an assist from Flora Hernandez (West Chester University). Strong goaltending from Riley Spingler (Bloomsburg University) lead the way in a great defensive effort to preserve the shutout and start the season off with a very impressive win. Next game for the Fever is their home opener on Sunday 6/4 at 3:00 PM vs. Washington DC Dutch Lions FC. The game is at First Responders Field in Bensalem, PA.
